ABOUT THE BAND

Born from heartbreak and healing in Jersey City, Michael Hilliard and The Working Class craft honest, soulful music that blends folk, Americana, and roots rock with a progressive edge. What started as songs written on an old acoustic guitar during recovery has evolved into a full band experience featuring RJ Martin on bass and Seth Pacini on drums, bringing a grooviness that makes their sound undeniably captivating.

Since releasing their debut EP "Nothing Changes" in 2021 (produced by John Agnello of Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. fame), the band has been making waves across the NYC metro area with their authentic storytelling and dynamic live performances.
