About this event

Enjoy live acoustic music while you create on Saturdays 4-6. Get inspired with your friends, family, or on your own! Your base session includes a wide selection of drawing materials and specialty papers. When you arrive, you’ll be able to choose your supplies from our art menu, with the option to upgrade to wet mediums or mixed media combinations. For inspiration, pick objects from the still life buffet, a guided NH-themed prompt, a National Geographic photo reference, a self-portrait mirror, an expressive art stencil, take a Polaroid to work from, or bring your own project.

I am a conceptual realist painter and the founder of The Aplomb Project, a portrait initiative designed to highlight resilience in trauma survivors through collaborative mixed media oil paintings. These portraits are not for sale. They are gifted to the individuals who inspire them. The process is intentionally trauma-informed and aims to affirm each person’s voice, strength, and story.

Beyond the portraits, The Aplomb Project works to expand access to the therapeutic benefits of creative expression through community programs. We offer classes, workshops, and events designed to support individuals navigating trauma, with particular attention to those facing socio-economic barriers.

Through this work, my goal is to foster a community where art serves not only as a form of expression but as a tool for healing and connection.
