This 4-hour course includes classroom and hands-on training to prepare responders to conduct risk-based responses to battery emergencies for Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) batteries. The course covers batteries found in transportation, including passenger vehicles, ground transport, as well as residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
The class is being offered free of charge through a partnership between OSFM and DPSST.
It is recommended that all participants be trained at the HAZMAT Awareness level or higher prior to the class.
The class details:
1st class : Saturday, November 8th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
2nd Class: Saturday, November 8th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Both classes cover the same information, please only sign up for one of the time slot.
