In Listen To Your Heart, breath, movement and sound become medicine. This class begins with soft yoga to ground and center, then drift into a soundscape that invites you to journey inward. Sound vibrations can help release muscular tension and even stored emotional energy. That’s why many people feel lighter, clearer, or even unexpectedly emotional after a sound session. The practice is an offering to your heart — a chance to rest, receive, and truly listen.
What to wear: We suggest comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely, but most of all look to be comfortable. Students are typically lying down on their back for the majority of class. Most students wear leggings or yoga pants with a tank top or fitted tee and also bring a light and loose sweatshirt. Barefoot is typical, but feel free to wear socks to this one if you’d like.
What to bring: A yoga mat and a water bottle. We have mats for rent, water for purchase, and a water fountain to fill up your bottle. We will have all the necessary props for your class (blocks, straps, etc.).
