Linocut Printing at StoryBox

Relax and get creative in the wonderful atmosphere of Storybox! In this 2 hour workshop you will be introduced to the art of linocut printing, and will design and create your own set of prints on A5 paper.

Linocut is a process where an image is carved into a linoleum block using a v-shaped cutting tool or gouge. The surface is then covered with ink using a roller and a print is taken from the surface.

No previous printmaking experience is needed for this workshop - participants will be guided through the process step by step and whether you are a beginner or improver you will be able to relax into the creative process and leave with a set of one-colour handprinted cards in your own unique design!

Suitable for all levels of experience!
