Linocut Card-making

Workshop Overview:

Discover the art of linocut and create your own custom cards in this hands-on workshop with local artist Jyll Mullen. Participants will be guided through the process of designing an image, carving it into a linoleum stamp, and using their stamp to produce high-quality handmade cards perfect for birthdays, holidays, or everyday notes of gratitude.

No prior experience is required—Jyll will walk you step-by-step through each stage, from conceptualizing your image to printing your cards. Each participant will leave the workshop with three completed cards with envelopes, as well as their own linocut stamp to continue making cards at home.

All materials are provided, and the workshop is designed to encourage creativity, play, and personal expression in a supportive environment. Whether you’re new to linocut or simply looking for a creative way to make meaningful gifts, this workshop offers a fun, hands-on experience that turns your ideas into art you can share.

Jyll Mullen is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for hands-on, tactile art forms. She teaches linocut and printmaking, using the process to transform simple designs into striking, reproducible works.
