Pesticide licensing in Florida can be confusing, and it may be difficult to determine which license/certification you need and how to obtain it. Read more this certification below to see if it applies to you.
The LLO certification is for applicators that work for government agencies or private companies doing work in lawns/turf and ornamentals around structures.
- Applicators with this license (LLO) are able to apply pesticides in ornamental bedding plants and Turf, in buildings landscapes owned by their employers
- Parks, cemeteries, sod farms, golf courses, and athletic fields are NOT permitted under this license

LCLM/LLO Exam Website
This class provides a review to prepare for the LLO exam.
This review will cover the following:
Agenda
- Pesticide Law, Pesticides in the Environment, and Pesticide Safety
- Pesticide Labels, Label Review, and Application Math
- Integrated Pest Management of Weeds, Insects, and Disease
- Knowledge check
To prepare for the exam, I highly recommend studying the following manuals prior to attending the class and taking the exam:
