————————-

Say your words aloud into the ether. Speak something into existence, ritual, shape. Tease out a piece of writing from many years ago and give it arms, legs, a voice, life. Read something written on your way here, just now. Manic, frantic, written, improvised, lyrics. Anything, anything. All forms of writing in a circus, in a circuit.

First time performers are welcome, this is a supportive and open space. Limited spaces available. Sign up through our linktree or on the door from 5pm.

About the space -

hARTslane is a very welcoming and warm space, however, the temperature inside is not. We are located in a former motorbike garage and the gallery has no heating.

We have a small plug-in heater, but it is strongly advised to bring a hot water bottle, warm clothing or flask (why not...) for when you're in the space. Camping energy is what this will most likely look like. Saying our words around the non-existent fire.

This open mic is a pop-up event. We will be rolling in between hours 5-8pm and then packing everything up and going back out. We have approximately 15 seats and the rest are standing.

hARIslane is a safe and inclusive space for all. We have a policy of 'Saying Yes to Artists' as long as the events are in compliance with our safeguarding & equality, diversity & inclusion guidelines outlined on our website.

We will not tolerate any forms of discrimination.

The gallery entrance is wheelchair accessible and there is a wheelchair access toilet in the space.
