Lighting the Way to Liberation: Hanukkah 5786
Overview
Lighting the Way to Liberation: Hanukkah 5786
Join us in person to celebrate Hanukkah 5786 with joy, light, and a shared commitment to justice. As we kindle the menorah, we’ll honor the Jewish tradition of shining light into places of darkness and affirm our solidarity with Palestinians living under occupation and violence. Together, we’ll uplift stories of courage, resilience, and resistance; reflect on the holiday’s legacy of liberation; and call for an immediate end to all forms of state violence.
This gathering blends ritual, community, and collective action, reminding us that our Jewish values compel us to stand for human rights, dignity, and freedom for all people. Expect candlelight, song, reflection, and festive treats, all rooted in a vision of a just and peaceful future.
Come add your light to the movement. Let’s illuminate the path to freedom, side by side, for all communities seeking liberation.
This event is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required. This helps us thoughtfully plan food, seating, and an accessible, welcoming space for everyone.
