About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

During these summer months, we have access to some really amazing light, but it can still be unpredictable. Some days are cloudy, and some days we want to add a bit more light. In this live demonstration, attendees will learn the essentials to get started in using off-camera flash.:

  • The gear from lights and wireless remotes
  • How to add a natural-looking fill light by balancing ambient light and flash
  • Understanding High-Speed Sync (HSS)

Attendees will leave this experience with a better understanding of off-camera flash, working with talent, as well as finding great compositions and backgrounds.

Attendees will also receive a special promotion!

WHAT TO BRING

  • Camera with at least one lens, a memory card, and a fully charged battery.
  • Recommended lens focal length, 50mm or 85mm.

EXPERIENCE

  • PHOTOGRAPHY: Intermediate
  • LIGHTING - Intermediate

Attendees must have an understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how to navigate their camera menus. This session assumes some previous lighting experience.
