LANTERN-MAKING WORKSHOP HAS REACHED CAPACITY. PLEASE JOIN US FOR COMMUNITY SINGING AT ST. MARK'S EPISCOPAL CATHEDRAL AT 6PM. BRING YOUR OWN CANDLE OR LANTERN.
In the darkest time of the year, join Minneapolis' new folk school, CENTER FOR PEOPLE AND CRAFT, for an evening of community, handcraft, and song!
4-5:30pm Lantern-making at CPC (SOLD OUT!)
5:45 - 6pm Lantern Walk ALL ARE WELCOME
We’ll light our lanterns and walk together outdoors through the darkness. It's just a short walk to St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral. Community members are welcome to join the lantern walk --BYO candle or lantern.
6 - 7pm Community Singing at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral
Renowned songleader Sarina Patridge will lead us in an hour of all-abilities community singing. All are welcome to join for the procession and singing.
This is a free event. The Center for People and Craft relies on the generosity of the community and welcomes your support.
We are grateful to our host, St. Mark’s, for sharing their beautiful space with the community. This is a secular event and is not affiliated with a religious tradition.
