Resideo also offers a variety of demand response services that make the economics of running a smart thermostat program extremely attractive, including a unique service designed specifically for REPs that automatically mitigates exposure to real time price volatility in ERCOT. REP’s utilizing this service generated over $150 in supply savings per participating residential customer in 2019.

Bio: David has been with Resideo for 2 years, where he is responsible for growing their demand side management business. Prior to this, David spent 3 years with Whisker Labs in a similar role and 10 years with Emerson in various roles from strategic planning to product development where he accumulated 6 patents related to HVAC control. He earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
