LGS University 2025 Week 2

Welcome to the second week of LGS University 2025 where exciting things are happening on campus! This event is all about connecting with fellow students, exploring new opportunities, and having fun. Join us for a week filled with workshops, guest speakers, and social activities. Get ready to be inspired, learn, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

The second week of LGS University 2025 is Monday, October 27 – Thursday, October 30 at the Hexagon office in Tucson, Arizona.

The curriculum is identical to the first week. Immerse yourself in an intensive week of technical training. The classes will include operating survey equipment, laser scanners, post-processing data, workflows and learning about integrating data from a variety of survey and reality capture sensors. We are offering over fifty different classes to challenge any user from novice to expert. Classes are applicable to all segments including Survey, Architecture, Engineering, Plant, Building Construction, Forensics and Public Safety.

There will be an event kick off each week on Monday with check in between 11 am – 1 pm. Between 1 pm and 3:45, there will be staff available in designated rooms to help assist with installation of software, activation of training licenses, or updating computer graphics. There will be no lunch provided on Monday.

At 4 pm, there will be a Keynote presentation in the 5th floor Auditorium followed by a welcome reception from 5-7 to meet instructors, fellow classmates and kick off a momentous week of learning.

If participants do not make it to the kickoff on Monday, they will be able to check in on Tuesday morning at 7:30 am.

Attendees take four classes each day, Tuesday through Thursday. Coffee and light snacks will be available at 7:30 in the morning and throughout the day. Classes start at 8 am and end at 5 pm with breaks in the morning and afternoon. Lunch will be provided Tuesday through Thursday between 12 and 1 pm on the 5th floor.

On Tuesday evening, after class at 5:30 pm, we are hosting a networking event at the Monica. We will be providing a drink coupon for everyone to enjoy a drink and mingle with Leica instructors and attendees.
