LGBTQ in Real Estate Networking + Architect's Tour of SNMVC - NYC
Overview
Become an Ambassador for the Birthplace of the modern Pride Movement.
Join OutPro for a special opportunity to volunteer at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC)—the first LGBTQ+ visitor center within the National Park Service. Independently operated by the community nonprofit Pride Live, SNMVC has welcomed over 80,000 visitors since its opening last year.
At this two-hour open house, tour, and networking event, you’ll learn how you can make a meaningful impact by welcoming guests, sharing LGBTQ+ history, and enriching visitor experiences. Once trained, you’ll be ready to volunteer 2–3 times a month (including evenings for events) on a flexible schedule.
Help support SNMVC's mission to honor the Stonewall Legacy and advance equality.
Out Professionals is proud to support the mission of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center by helping organize and promote this community-building opportunity.
About the Stonewall National Monument Visitors Center and Pride Live.
Pride Live is a non-profit organization founded on the principle of advancing the fight for full LGBTQIA+ equality. Through the creation of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, we’re unwavering in our effort to protect and preserve Stonewall’s legacy and history. Our space is inextricably linked with and honors the brave pioneers, especially transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals, who led the Stonewall Rebellion. Independently owned and operated, and 100% supported by donations, we will continue our mission to ensure that every person has access to learn about and see themselves in history.
