For LGBTQ+ youth, depression can be fueled by unique challenges like family rejection, bullying, discrimination, and lack of affirming spaces. These experiences often create feelings of isolation and hopelessness—but it doesn’t have to be that way. Support saves lives!

What happens if I accept that my child is trans?

When you decide to extend support and understanding to your child who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, etc- you are protecting them from serious health problems like depression, substance use, and HIV. It helps keep them home, safe, healthy, and alive.
