Learn about Dupont Circle’s LGBT+ history and help the Rainbow History Project collect photos of places and spaces around the Dupont Circle neighborhood!

Volunteers willl be split into groups to collect photos in different sections of the neighborhood and be handed a pamphlet of information about that section and the buildings we need photos of.

Photos will be collected using a Survey on a volunteer's mobile phone. Not all volunteers need to have a cell phone but all teams will have at least one person who can collect photos with their phone.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the neighborhood and have inter-generational conversations!

Some tips before heading out:

  • Dress appropriately for the weather
  • Bring a bottle of water
  • Wear walking shoes
  • Make sure your phone is charged
