Alice Friedman is VHB’s New York Active Transportation Lead, experienced in the design of bicycle facilities and design standards development, and was formerly Deputy Director of the Bicycle Program at NYC DOT. She has over 15 years of experience in the management of people, programs, products, and projects in both the public and private sectors.
Dawn Miller is the Senior Advisor to NYC’s Chief Climate Officer, where she supports climate and resiliency work across New York City government. She focuses on sustainable mobility, especially programs to promote the adoption of electric bikes, electric cars, and electric trucks. This includes co-leading the Mayor’s Interagency Task Force on Electric Micromobility. Previously, she led policy and partnerships at Coord, a curb management technology company, and served as Chief of Staff at NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission, the agency that regulates taxis and ridehailing.
