Level Five Improv: Performing the Show
Overview
Level 5 is the capstone of the Stomping Ground Comedy Theater training program. In this seven-week course, you’ll take everything you’ve learned in previous levels and apply it to advanced long-form formats—culminating in a month-long run of shows on the Stomping Ground Comedy mainstage. You’ll strengthen your ensemble skills, expand your character work, and dive deep into forms like La Ronde, the Monoscene, and Close Quarters, while also receiving personalized feedback to break old habits and level up your improv.
In this course, you’ll explore:
- Expanding characters in La Ronde
- Entrances & exits in the Monoscene
- Building interconnected worlds in Close Quarters
- Exploring additional advanced long-form formats
- Receiving individual feedback & challenges for growth
- Rehearsing and performing a mainstage show run
