In this 2 part intermediate metals class students will expand basic riveting skills while creating unique, no- solder settings to showcase cabochons or any material with a flat back. This fast paced class covers texturing, piercing, sizing, dapping, and shaping sheet metal as well as several finishing techniques for one-of-a-kind pendants. In class students will work primarily with copper as practice metal. Feel free to bring silver if you prefer. (2 inches by 2 inches in 22 and 24 gauge sheet)

There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.

CLASS POLICIES

PLEASE NOTE UPDATED POLICIES ARE EFFECTIVE January 1, 2022

REFUND POLICY: Students who withdraw 8 days (or more) prior to the start date of the first class receive a full refund. Students who withdraw 7 days (or less) prior to the start date of the first class DO NOT receive a refund of any kind.

CANCELLATIONS: All classes not meeting their minimum requirement three days prior to class start date may be cancelled. In the event of class cancellation by NW Rockhounds, you will be notified by e-mail or by phone and receive a full refund of tuition and fees. 

MISSED CLASSES: There are no discounts or refunds for missed classes or late registrations.

HOLD HARMLESS: I agree to hold harmless NW Rockhounds, its employees and agents for any and all claims for personal injury and/or property damage in which damage and injury is or appears to be proximately caused in whole or in part by my participation in this program.
