Overview

Certified Level 1 Trap Survey Technician Training will prepare facilities personnel to accurately and efficiently survey utility systems.

The ability to accurately evaluate steam trap operation can pay dividends in energy conservation, save countless maintenance hours, and reduce unscheduled downtime in your steam system due to trap failure.

This certified Level 1 Trap Survey Technician Training, which is the first part of our Trap Survey Technician Level Program, will prepare facilities personnel to accurately and efficiently survey steam and condensate utility systems and diagnose root causes of any trap failures.


What to expect:

Our steam experts will provide the knowledge and resources you need to conduct on-site steam trap surveys. Our mission is to share knowledge that will increase productivity in your facility, increase system reliability, lower maintenance, keep your personnel safe while reducing your energy cost and emissions.

Level 1 Training will feature:

• In-field training on multiple trap diagnostics tools

• An introduction and training on Armstrong's utility monitoring systems: SAGE® and SAGE UMT™ steam trap tester

• Expert training on common trap application best practices, steam trap assessment and steam and condensate fundamentals

• A Steam Trap Survey Training Test will be given at the end of the training program. You must pass the test with an 80% score or higher in order to receive your certification.

Tuition Details: Armstrong offers this training for FREE* to those that have purchased a SAGE UMT®! While lunch will be provided each day, your travel accommodations and meals outside of training are not included.

Class Length: A two-day hands-on seminar. Both days start at 8 am and end at 5 pm.

Lodging: We suggest the Delta by Mariott or the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalamazoo, MI.
