Let's Talk: White Adjacency

Join the South Asian Solidarity Movement at Haymarket House for an evening of open dialogue and reflection on the topic of White Adjacency.

This evening will offer a isafe space for discussing the complexities of privilege, white adjacency and solidarity buildling. Whether you're new to the conversation or well-versed in the topic, all are welcome to participate and share their perspectives.

Together we’ll unpack:

· What white adjacency looks like in our daily lives

· How it impacts South Asian and BIPOC identity, community, and solidarity

· Ways we can move beyond assimilation and toward authentic belonging and collective liberation

It’s time we stop trying to “fit in” and focus more on belonging. History reminds us that when we stop trying to blend in and hold space for our differences, we feel more connected to ourselves and to each other. Let's come together to listen, learn, and grow stronger as a community.
