About Let’s talk HealthTech

Limburg boasts a thriving HealthTech ecosystem centered around Health Campus Limburg DC (Incubator Bioville). This dynamic network includes close collaborations between two leading hospitals, Jessa Ziekenhuis and Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL), as well as the leading homecare organisation Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg, Health Campus Limburg DC (POM Limburg – University Hasselt), and imec.istart (imec’s business accelerator for tech startups).

‘Let’s Talk HealthTech’ is a regional networking event designed for everyone involved in the care sector and beyond. We welcome startups, entrepreneurs, caretakers, HealthTech companies, research institutes, authorities, and anyone with a connection to the HealthTech industry. Our goal is to share experiences, connect with the local ecosystem, and gain valuable insights—all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

First edition: Connecting Healthcare and Startups

In the inaugural edition of the ‘Let’s Talk HealthTech’ event, we aim to bring together HealthTech enthusiasts for a breakfast session focused on the theme ‘Connecting the Care Sector and Startups.’

Despite Belgium's high number of HealthTech startups, connecting with the care sector can be challenging. With a diverse group of partners present, we will explore this topic from multiple perspectives: startups taking their initial or subsequent steps in the sector, and various organizations within the care sector. Following the panel discussion, audience questions are encouraged to foster an interactive dialogue. We will conclude this first edition with a networking session, providing an opportunity to mingle and engage with the Limburg HealthTech ecosystem.
