Let’s Talk About Art: SHIFT

Join us this December for a special edition of Let’s Talk About Art as we explore the Chicago Architecture Biennial’s 6th edition, SHIFT: Architecture in Times of Radical Change. This two-day program invites participants (ages 65+) to engage in thoughtful dialogue about how architecture and design shape our daily lives—and how they can respond to the urgent social, environmental, and cultural challenges of our time.
Day one will feature a virtual discussion introducing the key themes of the Biennial and highlighting artists and architects whose work imagines new possibilities for our shared future. On day two, we’ll gather in person for a guided exhibition tour of the Biennial to experience these ideas firsthand.
The Chicago Architecture Biennial is a free, citywide celebration inviting everyone to explore how architecture and design influence the way we live, connect, and build more equitable communities.
