There's nothing more delightful than seeing a kite dance in the air. So, let's get together to build and fly a kite.
Inner Outer Happenings
This event is part of Inner Outer, a zine by Friends & Neighbors. The first issue is about Parks in San Francisco.
Things to bring
- A cooperative and curious spirit
- Water to stay hydrated
- Sunglasses + hats are a must
- Layers because SF
- Art supplies will be provided, but feel free to BYO as well!
- Food and snacks to share if you'd like!
Agenda
- 1:00pm–1:30pm - Snacks + intros
- 1:30pm–2:30pm - Build a kite. We'll divide into teams to build and decorate a kite
- 2:30pm–3:30pm - Fly the kite. We'll attempt to fly the kite
- 3:30pm–4:00pm - At the end we'll disassemble the kite and divide it up for everyone to take home a piece
This is a free event. A suggested $10 donation helps support our creative gathering space.
Please note:
- Attendees will be required to sign a waiver to participate.
- Friends & Neighbors is a phone-free community. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the event.
- Donations help a lot! Donations go towards our overhead costs, such as rent and printing and putting up flyers. We love analog marketing to bring in new friends and neighbors.
- Half of life is showing up. Due to our limited capacity, please RSVP only if you can attend. In the case your plans change, please cancel your ticket so we can accommodate more guests. Thank you!
