Let’s Draw from Life! Park Circle Community Building Sketch Tour

Join North Charleston Artist-in-Residence Jennifer York for an exploratory sketch tour together within and around the Park Circle Community Building. Find interesting things to draw from direct observation in real life, not copying from photographs or phone. Participants will start with light shaping in pencil, then switch to fine black pen to render textures, details, and add dimensional shading. Lastly, students will enliven their drawings further by painting with loose, splashy watercolor. Jennifer will also discuss best sketching practices and assembling your own sketch kit to draw anywhere! Paper and drawing media will be provided. Open to all skill levels.
