About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

In the U.S., an estimated 30%-40% of food is thrown out. Instead of sending that food to a landfill, God has given us a wonderful way of turning our waste into useful soil, enriching our gardens and the earth! Composting is an act of discipleship. At this workshop, participants will...

  • Learn the Why and How of Composting from Nathan Rutz of Rust Belt Riders, a Cleveland composting company
  • Visit two nearby community gardens
  • Receive a compost bucket and a backyard compost bin to get started in their own homes

Lunch will be provided!
