We're bringing the Northwestern Regional Conference back to Victoria BC!

This 2-day event on Saturday & Sunday November 8-9 promises to be a great time for all our teachers to reconnect, learn from each other and further their professional development.

This full weekend getaway will include pre and post conference activities, including a Ghostly Walk on Friday night, a social time at Hermann's Jazz Club (the oldest running jazz club in Canada!) on Saturday night and an optional organized group visit to experience the famous Tea at the Empress on Sunday afternoon.

And all Canadian weekend on beautiful Vancouver Island!

Frequently asked questions

Is there a One-Day registration option?

No. The conference is only a day and a half and we hope you'll be with us for the whole duration!

Can I register at the door the day of the event?

Yes, we will take registrations at the door on the day of the event, but advanced registrations is STRONGLY recommended for easy check-in (and to get your own name tag!). Payments by e-transfer and credit card will be accepted. Please arrive early to complete your registration and payment on site.

Are there any meals included with my registration?

No. Our conference venue is in the middle of Chinatown with lots of food options for you to discover! Item listed as "Hermann's Jazz Club Night" is entrance to the show only; food and drinks at your own expense.

Can I bring a guest for the Ghostly Walk, Hermann's Jazz Night or Tea at the Empress?

Absolutely! That's the point of having a full weekend getaway! These optional events are open to all. You can buy extra tickets/make the reservation separately.

Directions & Parking

Our conference venue is the Ambrosia Banquet & Events at 638 Fisgard Street. The Centennial Square Parkade (645 Fisgard Street) is located right across the street from the venue. Rate is $15/day.

What if I can't attend after I registered and paid?

Registrations are non-transferable; requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis until October 25th only.
