The Lens for Good Creative Workshop, Imo State is a visionary 3-day immersive social impact initiative. Led by the Special Assistant to the President on Visual Communication, alongside a team of passionate creative professionals, this workshop is designed to empower the next generation of visual storytellers in Imo State.

The goal is to provide hands-on, practical vocational training to unlock economic opportunities, stimulate the state's economy, and position Imo State as a hub for creative enterprise.

What You Will Learn: This intensive, skill-focused workshop covers essential and advanced skills in:

Workshop Highlights & Methodology:

  • 3-Day Intensive Learning: The sessions move from introductory fundamentals on Day One, to in-depth, hands-on practice on Day Two, and a final capstone project application on Day Three.
  • Mentor-Led Sessions: Learn from experienced mentors in each creative discipline through demonstrations and guided practice.
  • Project-Based Learning: Participants will complete mini-projects focusing on telling stories that highlight Imo State's culture and resilience.
  • Certificate of Completion: Participants who attend and complete the sessions will receive a certificate.
  • Grant Opportunities: Select participants, upon successful completion, will be eligible to receive equipment grants to support their creative endeavors.
