LEGO Building Competition

Bring your creativity and engineering skills to Beans and Brews this Summer for our LEGO Building Competition! This fun-filled event is perfect for both kids and teens to showcase their building talents and compete for fun prizes. While your young builders are hard at work, you can enjoy a relaxing coffee break in our cozy café.

Participants will receive a card with a challenge, and will use LEGO bricks to create their masterpiece within a limited time frame. Our judges will evaluate the creations based on creativity, originality, and structural integrity.

Highlights:

  • Compete for Prizes: Competitors have the opportunity to win prizes based on their completion of the challenge. Comptitors will compete in different age levels.
  • All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether your child or teen is a LEGO novice or expert builder, everyone can join the fun.
  • Safe and Supervised: Our team will provide guidance and ensure a safe environment.
  • Coffee Break for Parents: Sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids are engaged in building.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official competition?

No. This is just a fun building event we are hosting. Everything is done in house, and Legos are borrowed from businesses and individuals in the community.

Can I drop my kids off?

We ask that all parents also attend with their children under 14. For children over 14, you can drop off your child, and return to pick-up in 2 hours. Need to stay? Don't worry, we have comfy chairs and tables where you can do some work or enjoy a good book while sipping on some coffee!

Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 15 seats per event, so definitely sign up ASAP!

I signed up, but can't make it?

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 2 days before the event. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Cancelation after 2 days may be able to transfer into another event that month, but space is limited.
