On behalf of PSE's Legislative Council, I would like to personally invite you to our 2017 Legislative Conferencein Olympia.
As school employees, we are first responders for kids in crisis. We go to work every day for Washington's students and provide vital support and services so they can have a great day at school.
But our schools are underfunded and classrooms are full. Our wages and benefits are being cut so badly that we're having to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. When are WE going to say enough's enough?
The time is now. The 2017 Legislative Session will be all about Education. With pressure on the legislature to satisfy McCleary and fully fund education in our state. Registering to attend the Legislative Conference and joining us on the hill are the best ways to get involved and make a difference.
It may seem scary, but at Legislative Conference, you'll learn how laws are made, how to talk to legislators, as well as how you can raise your voice to influence better wages and benefits. Not only for yourself, but for all school employees across Washington.
You’ll experience an incredible weekend of networking with fellow PSE members and feel a sense of accomplishment as you invest in a brighter future for your family and Washington's students.
Will you join me?

When & Where
Public School Employees of Washington SEIU 1948
Public School Employees of Washington (PSE) is a labor union dedicated exclusively to representing classified educational support professionals in Washington state’s public education system. Our 30,000+ members play a vital role in the operation of early learning, K-12 and universities throughout the state.
No other labor organization in Washington represents educational support professionals with the power and might of PSE. We are constantly working on the front lines to improve the quality of our public education system and to gain better recognition for those women and men who often work behind the scenes to help our students succeed.
