Legacy in Harmony: Elad Navon and Vivian Fan in Concert

By The Wende Museum

Overview

A radiant evening of clarinet and piano works, featuring ARD Competition winner Elad Navon and Colburn’s Vivian Fan.

Experience an evening of luminous chamber music with clarinetist Elad Navon—recent First Prize winner of the 2025 ARD International Clarinet Competition—and pianist Vivian Fan, Director of Collaborative Piano at the Colburn Conservatory.

Their program traces a lineage of lyricism and virtuosity across Europe’s great Romantic and Impressionist traditions:

  • Johannes Brahms: Sonata for Clarinet and Piano in E-flat Major, Op. 120, No. 2
  • Claude Debussy: Première Rhapsodie
  • Ernest Chausson: Andante et Allegro
  • André Messager: Solo de concours

Presented in the Wende Museum’s A-Frame Theater and amplified throughout the new Glorya Kaufman Community Center, this performance invites listeners to wander and experience the music in multiple settings, from the bright reading room on the second floor to the quieter, contemplative third floor.
