LEGACY AND POWER: Knowing Your Rights with Stop and Frisk

Overview

In partnership with the Office of the Community Liaison, featuring special guest Assembly Member Latrice Walker.

How do we build a safe and thriving community for all? This work requires us to know our rights and hold our systems accountable.

In partnership with the Office of the Community Liaison, Weeksville presents our inaugural event in the Legacy and Power series: Knowing Your Rights with Stop and Frisk. Join us for a critical conversation on policing in NYC, featuring special guest AM Latrice Walker. Learn about your rights, see the data on unconstitutional policing, share your experience, and discuss solutions.

The evening will begin with a community dinner at 5:30, with program to follow.
