Join Dr. Lance ‘Boil’ Lewis, a veteran USMC F-18 pilot, as he shares the exhilarating sensations of being a modern fighter pilot. Ever wondered what it’s like to experience 7 times the force of gravity? How do pilots skillfully land on the pitching deck of an aircraft carrier?

Through engaging storytelling and the fighter pilot tradition of sharing ‘sea-stories,’ this lecture will immerse you in the high-octane world of aviation. Dr. Lewis will take you beyond the confines of NYC and into the cockpit, offering a firsthand look at the thrill of dogfighting and the challenges that come with the territory.

With 28 years of experience as a Marine F-18 pilot, Dr. Lewis has completed numerous combat tours and possesses extensive leadership expertise in high-pressure situations. Holding a PhD in War Studies, he brings a unique perspective on leadership and ethics through the lens of military history as the CEO of The Legio Group.
