📚 Lecture: “Gratitude, Grace, and Hope: A Philosophical Discussion”
🎤 Speaker: Prof. Dhananjay Jagannathan
Is gratitude an action or a feeling? Are we obliged to return favors, or is it acceptable to accept them without making any promises? Can we truly be grateful for things that belong to us, such as our lives? What is the connection between gratitude and hope? In this thought-provoking lecture, just in time for Thanksgiving, Prof. Dhananjay Jagannathan will guide us through these compelling questions, helping us think more critically about the nature of gratitude.
Dhananjay Jagannathan is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University and the author of "Aristotle's Practical Epistemology," published by Oxford University Press in 2024. He is also the author of the forthcoming "Culture as Conversation," a collection of essays about cultural identity and cultural transgression, set to be published by Penguin in 2026.
Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of gratitude and its profound implications!
