Lectures On Tap - By The FUNCTN
Overview
Some of the best conversations don’t happen in lecture halls — they happen over a drink, with good food, in a room full of curious people.
That’s the magic of Lectures on Tap.
No pressure. No pretentiousness. Just big ideas, human stories, and a space to learn without feeling like you’re in class.
And this time, we’re raising the bar.
First, Dimitri Douchin — once a TED speaker, now an astrophysicist and polymath who looks at humanity from far beyond the human lens. He’ll use science, humility, and cosmic perspective to cut through ego and division… and remind us who we really are, and why we matter.
Then, Krystle Ledesma — an ultra-trail marathoner who ran 214 km at the Sydney Backyard Ultra. But her story isn’t about medals. It’s about hitting rock bottom and choosing to rebuild — one kilometre at a time — until running didn’t just save her life, it reshaped it.
Finally, Phoebe Li — a creative who once made pieces after work and now runs Objects by Phoebe as her full-time dream job. She’ll talk about the power of creativity, content, and backing yourself even when no one else sees the vision yet.
Three different worlds.
Three different journeys.
One room. One night. One community.
Lectures on Tap — where curiosity meets connection, stories meet science, and ideas flow as easily as the drinks.
