Do I need to have prior knowledge of leatherworking?

No! All skill levels are welcome. We will teach you everything you need to know and provide all tools and materials.

Comfy shoes and clothes are best, as there will be some amount of standing depending on the work flow.

What light refreshments will be served?

We will have water, non-alcoholic sparkling beverages, & small snacks available for those who need a little energy boost.

Is there a bathroom available?

Yes, there is an accessible bathroom on premise available for use.

Join us for a hands-on leatherworking experience at Amano Goods in Echo Park, Los Angeles! In this workshop, you'll learn some of the fundamentals of leatherworking, as applied to making your own card case. Choose from a variety of premium leathers and thread options, and learn how to hand sew and use leatherworking tools under the guidance of the owner/designer of Amano, Adan. Courses include all materials, expert instruction, light refreshments, and of course, the final product that you make!
