Overview

Learn how to carve and tool leather in this class perfect for beginners.

Registration opens 11/8/25.

Learn the basics of leather tooling and make your own carved celtic knot in this introductory makerspace class. You can even return to use our leather working tools during any Open Lab at the library! Open to adults and teens ages 13 and up. Registration is required.

You MUST have a Garland Public Library card in good standing to attend this program. If you do not currently have a library card, you can sign up for one at no cost either before the program or immediately after.


Our library programs are free and in high demand. If you register and can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate others. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to register for future events.
