About this event

Hobbies • DIY

Zach Vincent, from Reelo Leather Co., will walk you through the stages of construction from start to finish and answer any questions you have about the process or leather in general.

By the end of the class, you will have a one of a kind belt and hopefully a new love for creating something with your own hands.

Class Breakdown:

Step 1: You will pick out your color of leather and hardware (buckle).

Step 2: We will cut and size the belt to the necessary length and width.

Step 3: Zach will instruct you on attaching the buckle. This part will require you to hand stitch the buckle in, along with the keeper.

Step 4: You will cut and shape the end of your belt and punch the holes for the tongue.

Step 5: This is the final step where we will finish and polish the edges. Number and letter stamps will be available if you choose to customize your belt with initials or names.

Each belt is made from premium cowhide and all hardware is solid steel or brass, making this not only one of the best belts you’ll ever wear, but one that will last for a very long time.
