5-Week workshop starts
Thursday, November 10, 2016
at 6:30 p.m. (est)
Many indigenous cultures throughout time have honored the ritual of connecting to the inner world of dreams. Our inner world reaches out to us in different ways, however, we unknowingly miss these cues until we develop a relationship with it. One of the most effective tools for inner insight is dream exploration. Our dreams show us interesting characters -- friendly and horrifying -- who may hold the keys to untapped creative potential or antidotes to healing an imbalance in our body and mind. It is not unusual to see a decrease in anxiety, depression, chronic pain and fatigue, inner conflict, and confusion when one begins to work with dreams.
In this 5-week experiential workshop you will learn:
How to develop a dialogue with your inner dream world;
How to interpret the unique language of dreams based on your own associations;
Discover missing facets of your personality that may need integration;
How to use art, journaling, movement, and silence to connect with dreams;
How to receive messages from the Unconscious; and
How to protect and nurture your inner sanctuary.
As we approach shorter days and longer nights, nature urges us to slow down and spend more time "inside." The colder months are the perfect time to shift our attention and presence to those parts of us which may not get the attention they deserve and need in order to flourish and become useful in our waking lives.
Give yourself the gift of presence. . .
We will gather on the following dates:
Session 1: Thursday, November 10, 2016
Session 2: Thursday, November 17, 2016
Session 3: Thursday, December 1, 2016
