This is a 4 week introduction to the fundamentals of speedskating, starting Saturday, January 4, 2020. Participants will learn the basics of body position, straightaway and corner technique, starts, and finishing. After completion, skaters will be well prepared to join the Columbus Speedskating Club in their regular practices.

The minimum skill level required is the ability to skate the lenght of the ice unassisted.

Columbus Speedskating has a selection of speedskates available for use during the lessons.
