Learn to Skate

Looking for a fun way to spice up weekday evenings leading up to the holidays?

Learn to skate at the UC Health Ice Rink at Elm Street Plaza for ice skating lessons with instruction from Northern Kentucky Ice Center.

These classes introduce the fundamentals of both hockey and figure skating in a fun, safe and upbeat environment. Open to anyone 7+.

4 Week Program: Dates: 11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15 Weather Make-up: 12/22

The lessons cost $75 and include:

- 4 week program (Monday nights, November 24 to December 15)

- 30 minute formal lesson, free skate practice after lesson until 8pm

- Session capacity of 20 participants

- Includes skate rental – or bring your own!

Sessions are sold as a set of four classes each Monday from November 24th-December 15th, 2025 with December 22nd as a rain date if needed. We offer 30 minutes of instruction; 6:30 - 7 & 7-7:30p sessions. Skate rental is included. All five sessions are being sold as a package for $75.00. Afterwards, students are welcome to stay on the ice to show off their moves, free of charge until 8 PM.
