Frequently asked questions

What is Rope Flow?

Ropeflow is a dynamic movement practice that builds coordination, rhythm, and joint control using a rope. It’s not about speed or cardio. It’s about learning how to move your spine, shoulders, and hips through fluid, rotational patterns. The goal is to create better body awareness, unlock mobility,

Do I need experience with a rope?

No experience is necessary. We'll teach you everything you need to know from the ground up. This workshop is designed to meet you where you are, so you can jump in, learn the fundamentals, and start moving right away.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a water bottle, and a willingness to learn. If you have a rope, feel free to bring it—but we’ll have extras on hand for you to use. You can also buy a rope using the link in the description.

Is Rope Flow good for mobility or just cardio?

Rope Flow is mobility-driven at its core. It trains joint rotation, spinal articulation, and rhythm—all things that improve how your body moves and feels. You’ll probably get your heart rate up, but the real benefit is better control and coordination.

I have shoulder/back/hip issues. Can I still participate?

Yes. In fact, Rope Flow is often helpful for those exact issues when taught correctly. We’ll break everything down in a way that feels safe and sustainable. You’ll never be forced into a position your body isn’t ready for.

How physically demanding is the workshop?

It’s as challenging as you make it. We’ll start with foundational drills and build from there, giving you plenty of room to go at your own pace. You don’t need to be in great shape to benefit from this.

How is this different from jumping rope?

Rope Flow isn’t about jumping or slamming—it’s about learning how to move. You’ll be flowing the rope around your body in patterns that train rotation, rhythm, and control. It’s more about precision than power.
