Do I need to know the alef-bet?

No. If you are not yet familiar with the alef-bet, we will begin there, and build on that foundation.

What textbook do you use?

I use the learning series that starts with "Alef isn't Tough." If you don't have a copy, I will provide one for a donation of $3CAD or more at our first session. Once we have developed fluency with basic words and phrases, we will use a siddur or prayerbook, and the Chumash, the First Five Books.
