Dive into the world of glass bead making in this fun and fast-paced 4-hour workshop! You’ll learn how to safely operate a torch to melt glass and create perfectly round beads. As you gain hands-on experience, you'll explore different shapes and enhance your beads with decorative techniques such as adding dots, striping colors, and pulling glass stringers (heating and pulling glass to create a thin elongated piece of glass) to create unique designs. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your skills, this workshop will provide you with the tools and techniques to craft a collection of beautiful, one-of-a-kind glass beads. By the end of the session, you’ll have a treasure trove of beads to wear or use in your own jewelry creations! Beads will go through an annealing process to temper the glass for strength—your instructor will set a pickup time. Traveling? We can mail your beads to you!
