Without a very large planer and jointer, flattening and smoothing a rough slab can be very difficult. In this class you will get hands-on experience with the new Rockler Benchtop Board Flattening Jig. Perfectly sized to fit on a workbench or shop stand for routing flat faces on smaller slabs, end-grain cutting boards or resin charcuterie boards—no need for a big drum sander! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation.
