How should I dress?

Dress in layers, its starts cold but once you start sweeping, you will warm up. Comfortable, flexible athletic wear is best. Jeans are not recommended.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Flat sneaker-type shoes with light tread are best. Heelded shoes, aggressive, worn, or dried out tread are very slippery and dangerous.  Shoes must be clean and free of dirt and debris. Foreign material will ruin the ice surface. Helmets can be worn for extra safety.

What is the cost?

The cost is the class is only  the drop-in fee at the GCCC (currently $8) Curl Santa Fe does not charge any additional fees and does not get the drop-in fee.
