Let's learn to 3D scan!

Join us at Twin Cities Maker as we dive into the different types of 3D scanning technologies and get you hands-on experience with the Creality Raptor Pro. You'll see firsthand what kind of quality you can achieve with modern 3D scanners.

We'll be scanning an object of your choice plus doing personal scans of ourselves, so bring your best outfit or favorite hat! You'll learn the complete workflow—from scanning to cleaning up and modifying your files in CAD and 3D modeling software, and finally printing your creations.

Beyond getting a solid understanding of how scanners work, you'll walk away with all your scan files to use in future projects.

About the Instructor

Jaysen Becerra is a long-time member of TC maker and has been into 3D printing technology for 15+ years including the use of industrial and medical equipment.

When time allows it, he's always exploring new ways to use/improve additive manufacturing or making costumes.
