Students will be introduced to woodturning on a lathe and learn the intricacies of faceplate turning. Students will be taught the basics of tool sharpening and learn the process of turning a wooden bowl. Students will take the finished bowl home at the end of class.
This class will provide lathe tool certification for Spark Makerspace Members who demonstrate safe usage of the tool.

This class takes place at Spark Makerspace at 7 Union Street, New London, CT.
Class Fee is non-refundable. Please plan accordingly. Please note that this class may not run if it does not meet minimum enrollment. If this happens, you will be contacted a week ahead of time.
