Ready to Roll? Join Peach State Roller Derby’s Crash Course!

Ever dreamed of lacing up skates and joining the thrilling world of roller derby? Peach State Roller Derby (PSRD) invites you to our Crash Course—a dynamic, hands-on introduction to the sport designed for newcomers of all skill levels.

Held at Sparkles of Kennesaw, these sessions run from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM and cover essential skills:

  • July 8: Balance
  • July 15: Falling Safely
  • July 22: Stopping
  • July 29: Speed & Agility

No skates? No problem! Rentals are available on-site. Just bring your own safety gear—mouth guard, helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads. A limited amount of loaner gear is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Experience the basics by playing derby in socks, trying out both jammer and blocker roles. You'll practice skating close together in a pack, mastering different styles of falls and stops.

Join a supportive community, boost your confidence, and unleash your inner athlete. No prior experience needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
