North Bay Speech Masters Toastmasters (3038) invites the public to the free open house to meet members and watch special guest speaker, Jeffrey Young, talk about the importance of communication skills when giving "A Toast, A Boast, and a Roast". The meeting will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10:30am at Cogir of the North Bay in Vallejo and online. Refreshments served. Please join us for a fun event.

Jeffrey's presentation may help you over the holidays give Toasts and Roasts at parties and luncheons.

Jeffrey is an entertaining speaker,

  1. and he has served in many Toastmasters leadership roles, including Corporate Club Chair and he presently serves as the Toastmaster Director over 140 clubs in our area.
  2. He also has earned one Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year award.
  3. Jeffrey is also gifted in Impromptu speaking, and he has been working with an improv team called B.I.T.E.S.

Other Meeting Segments

  • After Young's presentation, attendees with be given time to write a Toast at the meeting. Some attendees may be invited to share their toasts.
  • Table Topics Sessopm. Table topics is the impromptu speaking portion of the meeting. This is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes on a random topic. Practicing impromptu speaking helps you think and speak clearly on your feet in everyday conversations.

Where:
We meet in person at Cogir of the North Bay, in the 2nd floor meeting room. Cogir is located at 2261 Tuolumne St, Vallejo, CA. After getting the name tag at the front door, (which is the 3rd floor), take the elevator down to the 2nd floor and take a left out of the elevator and a left at the hall. Note, there is limited parking in the front lot. Most attendees part on the x-street. Please allow time for parking.

Other Meeting Dates

If you cannot attend this open house, you are invited to join our meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month online and at Cogir at 10:30 am. Our meetings generally last approximately one hour to 1 hour 10 minutes.
